He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from the Oriental School of Hotel Management, Kerala, and earned a three-year International Diploma in Hospitality from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, graduating with honours.
Sidd Mahajan was the first student from his college to receive a campus placement at the prestigious Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur. He joined the property in 2002, six months before completing his final semester, and returned to college in April 2003 to finish his degree. His time at Oberoi Rajvilas lasted two years, during which he earned immense appreciation for his sincerity, professionalism, and impeccable service. This marked the beginning of what would become an extraordinary career in hospitality.
A New Chapter in London
After his hard work in India, Siddharth moved to London to further his career and gain international exposure. While working across various hotels, he began visualizing a unique idea, a space that would blend the warmth of a home with the convenience of a hotel.
Driven by this thought, he launched Tulip Real Estate, a company that leased apartments to travellers, offering them the comfort of a home-like stay at more reasonable rates compared to traditional hotels.
Creating a Sense of Place
What began as a spontaneous idea soon evolved into a well-defined vision. Sidd Mahajan wanted to offer people a unique living experience, one that went beyond accommodation and created a sense of belonging.
Drawing from his personal experiences and understanding of the UK community, Siddharth started converting his owned houses into six ensuite rooms, which were rented out as serviced spaces for transfer students, working professionals, and business travellers.
His focus was clear: to create spaces that people could connect with, places that felt like home without the struggles of setting one up.
After the success of his serviced rooms, Siddharth Mahajan took a bold entrepreneurial leap. He leased a hotel property for 25 years and transformed it into a boutique hotel, known for its exceptional customer service and prime proximity to the station, a feature that greatly benefited professionals and travellers.

What started as a small step soon grew into a flourishing business. Siddharth Mahajan is now the Founder and Managing Director of the Tulip Group, a UK-based private company that has successfully expanded across property, construction, and hospitality divisions.
With over 15 years of experience in developing quality living spaces, Siddharth has built a business in real estate assets across London. His portfolio includes premium serviced apartments, boutique hotels, and residential developments across key business locations in the UK.
